I am a 20-year-old male and am currently a sophomore in college. For the past 2.5 years I have had a close friendship with a girl who I have always thought of as more than a friend. She is about 1 year younger than me and is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life with long brownish hair, hazel eyes and the best smile you can imagine. I first met her about 1 year before I started college. We were both attending a summer rafting trip that was meant to get us interested in the college we are currently at. When we met, I immediately took a liking to her and I suspect that she did the same to me. Our trip lasted for a little more than 2 weeks and the worst part about it being over was having to leave her with the thought that I would probably never see her again. I thought about her during most of my senior year in high school and was elated when I got a letter from her one day. When I moved to this college I found out that she had decided to attend here too which was certainly one of the happiest moments in my life.To this day we are still friends but I would like to be more than just a friend to her. The funny part is that I believe that she may have the same kind of feelings for me but I am too afraid to ask her because I can\'t help but think that she might not like me after all. If anyone has any advice that that they think would help, please tell me.

- Well friendship is the best base for a happy relationship so thats good. listen to the song (hold on loosely)by 38 special. That and write how u feel about her in a letter and say how u feel and why u feel that way. if she does to jump on board or or you are going to continue on down the track with your love life anyways. you may want to find love and as the rolling stones put it best (u can't always get what u want, but if u try somtime, u might find u get what u need) there is always more fish in the sea as the saying goes and just send or give it to her. U love her and it sounds like for logical reasons. U gotta take a stand and if she does like it great if not then she probly never will any ways. Say lavee. At least u tried.
