- "How should I approach this?" you ask. Here's what you do. Tell yourself that all people are creations of God and open your heart to the choir boy who is singing his love to the creator. You can show your love of God by loving Her creations.

- If you knew about the other people in your church, you would probably have a heart attack. There are a lot of sinners in your church. So, the approach that you should have is making sure that you and your family are walking in the steps of the Lord. Not to mention, I am sure the Reverand, Bishop, knows this boy is gay.
- i suggest you go read the bible then ask yourself what would jesus do. not portions, not quotes, not single instances of the new testament. the --entire-- new testament.
if you are too lazy to do that then you are too lazy to be a christian in the first place and i suggest you give up and become an atheist. - i suggest that you not run around and play the morality police. you don't know that boy personally nor how he really lives his life. would telling on him help him or hurt him? are you thinking of him or yourself? because what you wrote sounds incredibly selfish. let him worship in peace- having him ostracized will do nothing to help him. it would only increase his isolation.

Are you the Choir Director? If not let the people who can determine whether or not he should be in the choir find out on their own what he is.
You don't know if God isn't working on him right now and could have him delivered from it before long.

- Homosexuality is a special "class" of sin - it is a result of God giving a society over to themselves (Rom 1). The Lord can truly be working it out of him but if he is still practicing that lifestyle, he shouldn't be on the choir. That goes for anyone practicing a lifestyle of sin. Ministry has special responsibilities and availability to the Lord which a life of sin corrupts.

- Well you didn't say he shouldn't be a part of church, just that he shouldn't be on the choir. I honestly feel that homosexual Christian is a complete oxymoron as the Bible clearly states it's position on the issue. You can inform the board of the church, tell the singer face to face that you know and give him the opportunity to gracefully step down, or you can let him sing if he has a passion for singing and derives pleasure from participating in church and mind your own business. You decide!
