Sent to a friend So I have being going out with my bf for the past 6 YEARS!! We were together when I was in high school and right now through grad school. The relationship is beautiful. We have our ups and our downs, but is nothing we haven\'t been able to work through. So the only problem is that he wont move in with me. I 24 years old and I hve been on my own since I was 17 due to family problems. Im not ashame of this, because it has made me who I am, Strong and Independent. On the other hand, in times of trouble my bf has never lend me hand or said \"you can stay with me\" until things get settled. I don\'t know what to do about this. I guess over the years I have just decided to let it go, and hope that one day he will ask me. We practically spend 3 or 4 nights out of the week together. The other problem is that recently he just moved into this new apartment with his brother and a girl that I know from high school. Now, does this sound wrong to any of you? Why would he think that\'s its okay to move in with another girl and not me -- he\'s girlfriend!! What is going on that he refuses to take our relationship to the next level? Right now im in a situation where I cannot be at home because that environment is jeaoperdazing my school work. Should I just take initiative to pack a small bag and tell him that I can;t take being home anymore?
SOO COnfused >:(

- I think that should be a huge red flag that your BF doesn't want to live together after being w/ you for 6 years!! that is just crazy, I think you should definately give him an ultimatum, take your relationship to the next level and move in, or your moving on! Girl, I have been w/ and living w/ my boyfriend for 9 YEARS! and he still won't ask me to marry him. All guys have some form of commitment problems, but if he truely loves you he will make the right choice and move in. If he doesn't then you know to love on!
- LOVE On! thanks for you advice. He does have some committment issues.
- Thank you so much! Quick update: We broke up! and now He is fully committed to another girl that has a baby! Talk about not "being able to committ". So it has been six months since we broke up, and I couldn't be happier with the way things are going. It was a definite red flag, and I should have ended things long ago! phewwww ....
