Sent to a friend I wanna know if masturbating is a sin or not? I'm a christian and I have been told over and over that it is a sin. Now I'm not sure at all cause I never seen it in the bible that it was. I mean somebody let me know.Rating:5.00

- get a bible and make sure that it is in braille. feel your way through the bible until you get your answer. it's obvious that you are blind. seek and ye shall find.
- It's not a sin, it is perfectly natural. It's the evil fantasies in your head you need to be concerned about, you pervert.
- Masturbation, in my opinion, is a gift from God. I believe that God would rather you please yourself, then go out and do it with other people just for the satisfaction.
I'm no biblical scholar, but apparently from what I've been told and read on the issue, the bible doesn't actually say anything about masturbation, per se. It talks about lusting for someone, or having unclean thoughts and how these are a sin, but not masturbation. It would seem, as long as you can masturbate for pleasure of yourself without thinking about anything 'unclean', then it perfectly fine.
Here's a link you can check out that might shed some light on the issue for you... http://www.acts17-11.com/dialogs_masturbation.html
In closing, do what feels good and what feels right. Hope that helps! - I think that masturbation is not a sin but you shoudn't get obsessed with it otherwise you may do something with it that may turn it into a sin.
- How about drop the superstitious bullshit and stop worrying about it? What Jesus/Allah/Santa Claus have to say on the matter isn't relevant, since they're all fictional characters in the first place. Enjoy your life for fuck's sake.
- I'm not going to go digging into religious documentations, but daily orgasms are good for your health, physically and mentally. Some people don't dig it, but if it's something that relaxes you why not? Non-alcoholic, nicotine-free relaxation that doesn't cost anything.
